As FoO says in, The FREElance Toolbox, “be kinda curious to see somebody loadup a box with nothing but freeware, and see if they were able to get all their work done for a week… hmmmm.” Well, you did a great job FoO on creating that list. They are all really great applications. It is nice seeing free applications that anyone can use that can do just as good as a commercial application.

Scott Hanselman’s 2005 Ultimate Developer and Power Users Tool List

Wow. Is this not the most extensive and well written list of useful applications I have seen in a looong time. Scott, amazing write up. It took me around 30 minutes to skim through that list.

“Here are most of the contents of my C:/UTILS folder. These are all well loved and used. I wouldn’t recommend them if I didn’t use them constantly.” What else you got!

Came across this good article today, Popular Toolbars for Web Browsers. I never realized how many Toolbars there are for Web Browsers until I saw this list, and its only listing the popular ones. Honestly, I do not use toolbars. I feel that they clutter my workspace in my browser. But, I can see some good features that would be nice to have.

This is an awesome and small application called, Google Define. Pretty much, it is what it says. It will define whatever word you type into the text field and get the definition from google. It even gets the definition as you type and is really fast at getting the definition too.

This will come in very handy as im writing. Just keep it open and when I need it, it is right there. Love it. It’s the easy things in life that rock.

Excellent Job Oli Allen. Its so simple and fast, perfect.

SysSense is your personal desktop Google AdSense monitor. It keeps your current Google AdSense information in the Windows system tray. You can monitor an unlimited number of Google AdSense accounts. A sound and/or system tray icon balloon can be configured to alert you when your statistics have changed.”

SysSense is a great product that I have been using lately to track my earnings. I don’t get much from adsense as of yet, but it is nice to click on it and see some money in there :) This application is very easy to setup in use and just takes a matter of a few clicks. You can have the icon set to a refresh rate or to refresh when you click it. It gives information for Impressions, Clicks, CTR, CPM, Earnings, and even Predicted Earnings. Great for anyone that uses Googles Adsense.
