Tappity - Personalized Mobile Start Page
I just tested a new personalized mobile start page service called Tappity. It’s pretty nice actually! I don’t use the internet on my phone too often, but it’s pretty handy. You add your favorite search engines and sites to it so you can view them all on one mobile friendly page. Well designed web interface, too.

Free Rider - Draw a track and bike on it
What do you get when you combine the freedom of Line Rider and the physics of Elasto Mania? Free Rider, a new flash-based game where you can draw your own track and then ride a bike on it. It even implemented a simple save feature that lets you copy your maps data and send it to friends (wish Line Rider had that!). Try not to kill too much of your free time :-).

(5)Just a quick note that Virb, a new social network that’s got me excited, has launched today. I was accepted into the private beta a couple months ago and its really come a long way. It’s beautifully designed, has great iTunes integration, and has got a little bit of everything in there. Perhaps what I like most is how customizable the profiles are. Be sure to check it out!
(11)swfIR is a new Flash replacement technique that replaces and adds visual effects to images on the fly using simple JavaScript. It’s similar to the the popular Flash text replacement technique, sIFR. You can, without physically editing an image, set borders, shadows, alpha transparencies, blurring, rotation and more to any image on your website. Pretty neat! (via Mike Davidson)
