Your writing style is excellent and compelling, I'd just encourage you to avoid some "fluff" and get straight to the "meat", keeping your same style and narrative. As opposed to a literary essay or what you might have written in college, I'd imagine that most people here don't necessarily care as much about a narrative on the history of video games as they do about the product being reviewed.
