I am very honored to say, Solution Watch is now a member of the Web 2.0 Workgroup. For those of you that do not know, the Web 2.0 Workgroup is a group of sites that focus on the new generation of the web. The idea is that if you like one of the sites in the group, you will most likely enjoy the others because they are all somehow related to the growing web. The group is growing to have a little bit of everything. TechCrunch makes profiles and reviews on the new generation of the web. WeBreakStuff is a blog on web 2.0, usability, design, interaction, user experience and development. Read/WriteWeb analyzes the trends, developments and business of Web 2.0. The Two-Way-Web is a vision for the Web as an easy writing and publishing environment. And now, Solution Watch is part of the group!
For those of you just visiting for the first time, let me try to explain what my blog is about. Solution Watch is a site that gives reviews and in-depth walk-through’s of services and companies. I try to explain what the service will do for you, how you use it, and any other information that I feel you should know as I write the reviews. The web is certainly growing fast and I do my best to key you, the visitor, informed of the new services that the web brings.
On a last note, I am very happy to be part of the Web 2.0 Workgroup and also would like to thank the group and Michael for giving me this excellent opportunity. I’ve become good friends with Michael and hope to meet the other members of the group as well. For you new visitors here at Solution Watch… welcome!
Update: Looks like we have another new member to the group! John Furrier’s Podtech.net. Podtech.net is all about the podcasting, fresh voices of Silicon Valley, technology, and media. Welcome John!
Congrats Brian, you and your blog have grown a lot since you started back in May - but your hard work has shined and look where it has gotten you. I’m proud of you dude, now it’s time to show a much larger audience what you can do.
Good luck.
