I have been coming across many del.icio.us tools to visualize usage during my daily researching hours. So many, that I have decided to start making note of the ones I come across. From the span of about two weeks, I have been collecting as many as I could find. I will list each one along with a description. Enjoy!
- HubLog: Graph del.icio.us related tags - You can graphically browse related del.icio.us tags as mind mapping in this Java applet.
- Extisp.icio.us Text - Gives you a random textual scattering of a user’s tags, sized according to the number of times that they’ve used each of them, and leaves you to draw your own insights from the overlapping entrails.
- Extisp.icio.us Images - Displays a random Yahoo images search result for each of a user’s tag words (excluding those which they’ve only ever used once).
- Revealicious - A set of graphic visualisations for your del.icio.us account that allow you to browse, search and select tags, as well as viewing posts matching them.
- del.icio.us tag clouds - Lets you cluster your del.icio.us bookmarks into tag clouds. You can check the results and adjust the clustering later.
- Delicious Soup - A tool that reveals your del.icio.us activities. This visualization looks excellent, it’s fun, and uses Macromedia Flash.
- Vox Delicii - Flash application to help you visualize the most popular sites being added to del.icio.us.
- Del.icio.us Popular Treemap - View the popular bookmarks at del.icio.us in a cool treemap
- Cloudalicious - Watching tag clouds over time for a given URL
- Del.icio.us Mind Map Maker - This service will make a Clustered Mind Map out of your delicious entries. Note that it will be able to be seen by anyone.
- Mapping with Anthracite and OmniGraffle - Ruben R. Puentedura’s tutorial on making maps with Anthracite and OmniGraffle.
- LiveMarks - Don’t know if you consider this as a visual, but I do. It is the activity of del.icio.us, but live.
- HubLog: Graph del.icio.us subscriptions network - Another HubLog visualization to browse the network of del.icio.us users as defined by their inbox subscription lists.
- Del.icio.us direc.tor - An alternative web-based rich UI for del.icio.us that uses AJAX. Provides a good way of searching and sorting through your bookmarks.
- DeliciousMind - A neat tool to create an XML structure of your bookmarks so you can import it into FreeMind Mind Mapping software.
- Mapping Del.icio.us - Plots locations on the world map from del.icio.us geotags.
- Your del.icio.us top sources - Nivi had proposed a $50 bounty to who can make a del.icio.us tool to see your top bookmark sources. Looks like it is a done deal!
There’s a couple more that I have in mind, but they don’t seem to be working at the moment. When they are working again, I will be sure to update the list. Also, if you know of any more, please feel free to comment or contact me! Hope you enjoyed my little roundup!

nickgs » digg vs. del.icio.us says:
[...] del.icio.us on the other hand represents simplicity at its best. Basically you have the ability to add any URL as a bookmark to your del.icio.us account for centralized access. When you bookmark a URL you also “tagg” the url with tagg names which you create yourself. For example if I wanted to bookmark wsj.com I would tag it “business news interesting”. As you use the service patterns start to emerge in your tagging and you can effectively reverse engineer your thought process! Truly amazing! The website follows a simple to use structure. For example when you create a user name such as nickgs you may access any bookmarks which you have tagged at http://del.icio.us/nickgs. Now many people may bookmark the same address and much like Digg when many people mark the same address the URL makes it to the popular page or simply http://del.icio.us/popular. [...]

It’s so del.icio.us « USF COE Laptop Initiative Blog says:
[...] The best thing about social bookmarking are the tags. Tags allow you to organize your bookmark collection. You can even view your bookmark collection in del.icio.us as a cloud, which shows how many bookmarks you have saved with each tag by the relative weight of the tag text. (By the way, since del.icio.us has a public API, many people have created websites that build on del.icio.us and allow you to do even more with your online bookmarks.
