“Dropload is a place for you to drop your files off and have them picked up by someone else at a later time. Recipients you specify are sent an email with instructions on how to download the file. Files are removed from the system after 7 days, regardless if they have been picked up or not. You can upload any type of file, mp3, movies, docs, pdfs, up to 100MB each! Recipients can be anyone with an email address”
Dropload is a pretty cool application. If you have a file that you want to send to someone, you can use this. It will allow the person to see what the file is called and who the sender is before they download it. I suppose it’s better then sending attachments through email if you want to be safer. It’s free too! So go ahead and give it a try.

I have sent about 3 files in the last few months and the recipients did not receive them nor was I notified that they were received. Is there some way we can check to see what the prblem is ?

Same here, I have used Dropload both for sending and for receiving files before with success but today the page is unavailable. Whats up?

Same problem too, I used it mid-Apr and it was fine and working. But, a few day’s after all I got was “this page cannot be displayed” error and it still persists. I have not idea, but would like to know too.

Something to add to my last post. I found this blog site -address: http://dropload.blogspot.com/2005/01/site-news-slowness-and-inboxoutbox-bug.html — for information about Dropload. It says it’s the news/info blog/site for dropload. But it has nothing about this issue, last post/news (on it) is dated 2005 or 6, nothing for ‘07. maybe it might help someone. If so, let the rest of use know too, thanks.

Dropload has been down for quite some time. www.ShareCow.com offers a similar service.
