Pergtop’s PStart is a cool small application that you can stick on a jump drive or keep it on your computer that will allow you to easily launch applications from a list, or take notes about anything. It uses relative paths for the applications it will list, so if you install it on a CD or USB Drive, it will display all the applications inside in organized sub folders (depending on the folders you store them in).

PStart is a simple tray tool to start user defined applications. Designed to run portable applications (like portable Firefox & Thunderbird), you can start anything runnable from USB key devices or removable disks.

Install PStart locally to your hard disk to have an additional start menu. Install PStart to your USB stick to launch portable applications easily and open important documents or folders.

Excellent small and free application. You can even take notes that are colorized. The application also has System Tray icon that you can click on to give a listing of all the applications. Very useful.

I have been using PStart for awhile now and I like it but – I still cant figure out a way to autostart PStart when I plug in my USB drive. Very annoying.
